Who am I?

My name is Jacob Hartmann. I draw a lot and like to make comics. You can read some of them on this blog. I try to be inspired by an many works as possible. A few favorites are the movies of Hayao Miyazaki, comics of Hugo Pratt and Joann Sfar, Watership Down (a book about bunnies) and video games like the Mother series and Little Big Adventure.

This last year I’ve moved around the country, begun and quit an education, gotten a rejection for animation school, starred in MacBeth (as Fleance), been unemployed for several months, drawn comics, gotten welfare support and decided to study Japanese in another town.
